Deluxe hutches are designed for maximum labour efficiency and they are used by some of the world’s biggest calf ranches and dairy producers. The hutch design includes Calf-Tel’s thermal shedding properties and cross ventilation techniques - keeping calves warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The Deluxe’s point of differences include the most efficient rear-bedding door of its kind, exterior feeding for feeding efficiency and interior feeding in poor weather. It also features a left or right offset shrouded entry – for more airflow. Like the rest of the range, the Deluxe is also light-weight, easily moved and cleaned – making it easier to avoid disease. They include a galvanised steel base for greater structural integrity and durability. Superior ventilation is achieved through both ridge top vents, and an adjustable rear vent that gives you the option to “open a window” for great airflow. The modular design allows for different configurations. Calves can choose their ideal microenvironment – from a sunny spot in the pen or entryway, to a protected and private place at the back of the hutch.
